- - - - - Are YOU A Volunteer? - - - - -
The misunderstanding about what constitutes 'volunteer' time has been and may still be what keeps people from thinking they do or do not qualify for the Prairieland Food Program. A lot of folks feel like they don't have time to volunteer, when in fact they already ARE volunteering.
When you give freely of your time to help someone else, or an organization (such as Prairieland Food; your church; local schools; etc.) your are already a volunteer.
Below is a list of some of the things Prairieland Food participants do and some opportunities that you, your spouse or your children can do to help you gain the hours you need to qualify for the Prairieland Food discount food program.
